Hello Amazing Team VIPS!
Fairfield has been chosen to host the 2nd Annual Northern California Law Enforcement Volunteer symposium this year! As the gracious host, we look forward to putting our VIPS program on display, highlighting the amazing things you all do. There is no VIPS program without you!
Last year as guest, we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the networking opportunities and educational seminars presented by local law enforcement agencies. This year, we will need all hands-on on deck to assist in making sure, our partner agencies are afforded the same opportunities to enjoy this amazing event.
There will be an opportunity for you to attend this event as well as work in the volunteer capacity.
Volunteer Job Opportunities Include:
Symposium Check-In Table - (Minimum of 3 VIPS) Using a prepopulated template, you will check in attendees by agency groups. There will be an alphabetized attendee list for each agency. For those attendees that attend without payment, you will present them with a form (invoice for later).
Raffle Presenter- Throughout the symposium, three raffles for agency gift baskets will be called. We will need a MIC person and someone to hold and deliver the gift basket to the winner.
Symposium Setup Crew- This year, we are hosting at one of our local hotel partners (info in email) and we will need help with table settings, A-Frame signs, and Balloon arches, room decor, and activity setup.
If you have a specific assignment you wish to volunteer for, please notate that in a follow up response email.
For our VIPS who do not wish to work on this day, but attend this wonderful symposium, you can respond in the forthcoming email.
Dress for all attending will be Class A (White shirt/Tie/Clip/Blue Pant/Black Boots
