Community Ambassadors play a critical role in creating strong connections with city employees, residents, businesses, and the Fairfield Police Department. They serve as a community liaison, providing direct communication to our city employees, residents, businesses, and creating awareness of events and opportunities within our community. This position offers a great sense of safety to visitors and to our downtown businesses.
What We Do
As a part of the Community Ambassador Program, you will be responsible for a variety of duties, including distributing promotional materials for upcoming downtown events, partnering with Fairfield Police units assisting with informational booths at local festivals, walking among the crowd at a parade, and more!
To be a part of the Community Ambassador Program, you must be an active member of the VIPS program with the Fairfield Police Department.
